Returning to Carr Hall Castle

Returning to Carr Hall Castle today – a second day cooking for a family from Texas, USA. The weekend started with a tour of European flavours in my tapas feast – the perfect accompaniment to the hot weather that greeted their arrival on Friday evening. Today now the rain has cooled things down it’s a more traditional British three course dinner, with scallops, black pudding, smoked bacon, kale, apple, rye bread, Yorkshire Dales fillet steak, lots of organic veggies and of course, since we’re in West Yorkshire, rhubarb crumble and custard.
