My first brave outdoor diners of 2025! This family, who travelled from various parts of the UK to celebrate a special birthday in a holiday cottage near Skipton, managed to keep my visit a surprise. There’s no dining room or table at the old school house they stayed in, so the meal was served outside in the evening sunshine (followed by big bowls of warming apple crumble on the sofa as it cooled off). A lovely review.
