The centuries-old dining room at High Hall in the Yorkshire Dales. Complete with a roaring fire in the huge ancient fireplace, this is a great historic setting in which to enjoy a meal freshly cooked in the kitchen’s Aga. I love cooking here – outside all’s peace and quiet in Appletreewick, just up Wharfedale from Bolton Abbey and Barden.
