Feeling like a tourist

Feeling like a tourist in the sunshine. We took a bit of time out today while the sun was shining to pop up Wharfedale, first to one of our favourite riverside spots in Grass Woods nature reserve for a picnic lunch, then to Langstrothdale Chase to play in the river where it’s a bit narrower. This is Yockenthwaite Farm – known to fans of the TV series ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ as Helen’s farm, Heston Grange. I regularly drive past the farm and its bridge on my way to bookings in Upper Wharfedale and Wensleydale – thought it was worth a sunny tourist-style ‘Yorkshire Dales TV filming location’ selfie.

This is just one of many insights into my work as a travelling private chef in the North of England. "Where do you cook?" I hear you ask, "I'm looking for a private chef near me".

Well, this example relates to my work as:
