Organic Williams pears

These are traditional Williams pears. They’re beautifully sweet with buttery soft flesh. Ten days ripening on the windowsill after delivery from the farm and they’re spot on for desserts. I cooked these for a meal this week where they needed a no-added-sugar dessert option, but left to my own devices I could probably have eaten the entire bag as they were. Amazingly juicy. Just great. Definitely up there with Ercolini pears as my personal favourites. Compliments to the growers!
