It’s 4 years today since I started something new!
On 20 April 2021 I chose the name “The Cook in the North” and set about offering my services as a travelling private chef in the North of England. After the many covid lockdowns had taken their toll I needed a new challenge – something creative that I had a passion for.
Hundreds of bookings later – in homes and holiday cottages across the beautiful landscapes of Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria – and more 5 star reviews than I can count, I now have a six month waiting list.
A huge acknowledgement to my wife Beth for her unwavering encouragement, support and faith in me. Without her I couldn’t accept a single booking. Thank you.
