It’s purple sprouting broccoli season! These colourful organic veggies were off to Menston in West Yorkshire as part of the main course of a birthday party meal for 22 diners: salmon en croûte or beef bourguignon with creamy potato gratin dauphinois, shredded raw Brussels sprouts in mustard and cider vinegar (more on that another time) and purple sprouting broccoli.
