Clean plates the morning after Burns Night in Leeds, ready for their next outing to the Lakes. Instead of lumbering dinner party hosts with a full dishwasher and the job of emptying it (or even worse having to load a second pile) the next day, I whisk all of my plates, dishes, trays and equipment away in boxes at the end of the meal.
