Last weekend I had the great pleasure of taking an evening off cooking to take my wife and daughters to see pianist Brad Kella, supported by Daria Golovchenko, at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. One of the first to buy tickets within seconds of them being released, we were lucky enough to be sat next to Brad’s family which only added to the special atmosphere and occasion of this debut performance in his home town. What a fantastic composer, pianist and inspirational life story. A big favourite of mine listening in the car on the way to private chef bookings across the North of England, especially with the fells of the Lakes and Dales as backdrop… really looking forward to more compositions being released as his music live in Liverpool was top notch.
