High Fellside Hall near Sedbergh, where I had the pleasure of cooking for a visiting family for a second time. Impressed with their meal and service in Bowness-on-Windermere last year, I was asked to cater for their family gathering again this autumn. In the Yorkshire Dales National Park instead of the Lake District, we were treated to a fabulous sunset through the kitchen windows, with views looking out over the River Lune towards Kirkby Lonsdale. A fabulously scenic spot, familiar faces at the table and thoroughly clean plates after every course!
