Cooking at Carr Hall Castle near Halifax, Yorkshire. As part of the three course meal for a Welsh family celebrating an 18th and a 21st birthday, I cooked Yorkshire fillet steak beef wellington (with red onions caramelised in port) with beef from Ilkley and Yorkshire rhubarb and vanilla crumbles and custard. Too busy in the kitchen to take photos of the food but here’s me making custard with egg yolks, double cream and sugar.
