Although I try my best to bring everything with me, occasionally I do slip up and when that happens resourcefulness is the name of the game. I forgot my glass cups for the lemon cheesecakes I was making, so they ended up in some wine glasses found in the holiday cottage’s kitchen cupboards. I think in the end they looked rather fancy raised up on their stems – photographer @richardwillett.uk snapped a photo as they were being prepared.

This is just one of many insights into my work as a travelling private chef in the North of England. "Where do you cook?" I hear you ask, "I'm looking for a private chef near me".
