The snow and ice melted just in time for this photo last week: overlooking Settle and Ribblesdale in the Yorkshire Dales, this is the second time I’ve been asked to cook at Dallicar House in Giggleswick. A lovely spot – the kitchen windows look straight towards Weets Hill where I live – even if it was a wet and cloudy day.
