The end of a busy evening – holiday cottage kitchen spotless, everything packed into the car and ready to say my goodbyes to some very full and very satisfied diners. This week has been busy with birthday and Christmas gift meals, usually for someone who loves cooking but deserves a break and a treat. I’ve chatted – and had my photo taken – with several lucky gift recipients, shared stories and even passed on a few recipes and tips from my own cooking.
