Race day garden party food in Cartmel on Saturday, alongside cocktails by Lakes Cocktail Company. BBQ food including burgers, tandoori or sweet chilli chicken skewers, sausages, Chinese BBQ pork ribs and garlic, lemon and thyme chicken wings. All accompanied by freshly prepared organic coleslaw, caprese salad, potato salad, pasta and pesto salads, artichoke hearts, peppers and heritage tomatoes – plus first-of-the-season triplo potato wedges fresh from the coastal fields of Devon, served straight from the oven. Lots of happy race-goers set up for a fun afternoon at Cartmel Racecourse
