Cooking in Barnoldswick – my home town

Cooking in Barnoldswick – my home town – today, alongside the summit of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal high in the Pennines. From here there are fabulous view out across the Yorkshire Dales as the canal winds its way down towards Gargrave and Skipton. Most of the ingredients today are from local farms in both Lancashire and Yorkshire – very apt given this part of the world is disputed border country. I’ve got some butter from the Lake District – neutral territory!
