Here’s where I cooked last night at Kilnsey Park in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just up Wharfedale from Grassington. The diners will be at their wedding today and wanted a chef to come and cook for them yesterday after a day decorating the venue and getting ready for the big day. This part of the Dales is regular stomping ground for me – I often take my children to the woods and pebble beaches on River Wharfe near here, to paddle, swim, fish and kayak (usually with a picnic). A lovely quiet part of the world and a pleasure to cook there.
