The coming week’s weather forecast is looking great! When I’m not in the kitchen I love kayaking on the Leeds and Liverpool canal – it’s calm, peaceful and full of wildlife in this part of the world. When I was in sixth form I worked preparing meals in the galley of a tourist canal trip boat and really came to appreciate the slow pace of life on the canals. As a travelling chef I haven’t yet had a booking for a canalside cottage or even on a narrow boat… but well up for the challenge!
