My daughter collected these clover flowers from our lawn this weekend. Last year we sowed clover, buttercup and daisy seeds in amongst the grass and it’s made a tremendous difference to how lush and resilient it is (and is a boon for wildlife). Reminds me of the fabulous episode @bbcfoodprog recently did on legumes – which, like clover, fix nitrogen from the air instead of needing fertiliser. But that’s for another day… just enjoy the simple pleasure of a bright young mind enjoying collecting flowers with her dad.
