A day of harvesting and cooking plums from our neighbour’s garden, making easy-to-cook crumbles for pensioners around town who enjoy a sweet treat but often struggle to prepare food themselves. This was just one of several buckets of fruit, making a dozen crumbles, fruit based to freeze and a pan of plum sauce.
